Upon release of Escapology's second single Baby's Got It, the vibrant video quickly caught the eyes of new audiences everywhere, proving this Toronto-based performer to be truly fashion-forward with her unique sense of style. Boasting pumping horns and pulsating strings, Baby's Got It takes the listener back into the sugary roller-skate boogie. Tokyo/ Cambridge-based Greeen Linez's Matt Lyne (Diskotopia) and Chris Greenberg (Hong Kong In The 60's) have spun together a crisp, polyrhythmic extension of the track. Their take on Baby's Got It. brings new footwork to the already fantastically fun vibe of the original with added atmospheric glitter. Greeen Linez has received mad love from DJs like Julio Bashmore and have done remixes for Mau'lin, Darkhouse Family, and BD1982. Brooklyn-native MeLo-X has flipped Baby's Got It with his remix, delivering a darker side via break-beat treatments, synth stabs and vocal effects. His flare for producing electronic hip hop really pierces through, making the track after hours, basement jam ready. MeLo-X has attracted quite the buzz with his remixes for the likes of Yuna, Kilo Kish and recent collaborations with Jesse Boykins III.
