When Toronto-based and ever versatile label Do Right! released Required Listening - a raw, diverse and stunning compilation of sounds by artists from Toronto, critics and music lovers around the globe took notice. Aklimatize stylings can be heard on the afro-latino inspired broken beat stomper "Dime La Verdad". On the flip, Dante & Dhula who also do double duty with Cobblestone Jazz switch up the vibe, taking a dubby, down tempo journey with the track "Why Do the Wicked Ones Rule" which has been played by the like of Toshio Matsuura and Gilles Peterson.
